ACTION PLAN
Catching Up With Old Friends 🤝

This section is your daily roadmap to supercharging sales. Get ready for actionable, bite-sized tasks designed to immediately boost your sales game. Each day, from crafting compelling email subject lines to perfecting your sales script, unveils a new strategy to implement immediately.

This past weekend, I connected with an old friend from high school. We talked briefly, and I told him what I do for a living (marketing), and he gave me his elevator pitch for what he is up to these days.

Remember, I haven’t seen my buddy from high school in over 10 years. A lot can happen in that amount of time.

He mentioned something about wholesaling and Amazon with his brother. Now he is talking my language.

I contacted him a few days after our initial 5-minute chat and scheduled a meeting for him and his brother to come by my office. I knew there was potential for a win-win scenario and needed to know more.

The two brothers stopped by the next day and dropped some bombs on me.

I never knew they owned and operated a 10-man team distributing Amazon goods, making a few million a year, practically in my backyard.

This is good stuff.

They want to become an Amazon wholesale account for more brands and are on pace to more than double revenue this year.

Now, I can see a potential play to collaborate with an old friend and make some hard-earned cash together.

Now, what is the lesson in this story?

It is to keep your network alive.

You never know what people are up to, especially if they don't show it on social media.

The same goes for you.

Nobody will know what you do unless you tell them.

Get in front of people. Whether it is face-to-face or running a simple Facebook Ad.

The more people know you and your work, the more you get lucky with new opportunities.

Economy + Marketing 🌎

As business owners, we all understand we must cut expenses to survive hard times.

As marketers, we all understand that marketing gets the first chopping block on the expense line during hard times.

• Good Economy = More Marketing Clients

• Good Economy = Businesses Spending Money On Marketing

• Bad Economy = Less Marketing Clients

• Bad Economy = Businesses Cutting Marketing Dollars

You should NEVER cut your marketing budget but that topic is for another day.

I see the same thing Neil sees at his massive level—more and more marketing spend.

Signs of a good economy coming?
